Authentic berlingots de Carpentras -boiled, striped candy sweets- prepared traditionally by our expert confectioners: these colourful sweets bring back all the tangy flavours of our childhood. Four flavours to be savoured with delight: orange, lemon, aniseed and coffee.
This traditional recipe brings all the flavour of home-made candied fruits and almonds. Blanched almonds are mixed with candied orange and melon, then iced to perfection by the confectioner’s expert hand before being put in the oven to obtain their final colour.
In the past, fruit jellies were prepared so as to enjoy all the flavours of sun-kissed summer fruits during the long winter months. Packed with vitamins, these small cubes which originated from Provence are full of all the colour and flavour of their native land.
The River Durance tirelessly sweeps along its round pebbles which gave rise to these chocolates. Prepared with almonds and slowly grilled coffee beans, the Galets de la Durance are then dressed in a colourful coat flavoured with cinnamon and Provençal mixed herbs shrouded in Armagnac and vanilla.
This white nougat candy revives tradition: almonds and pistachio nuts are delicately grilled and coated with a soft, smooth, honey-rich paste full of the scents of Mediterranean scrubland enhanced with a hint of vanilla.
Let yourself be tempted by the irresistible crunch of dark nougat candy. Almonds grilled to the core, the key ingredient in this preparation, vie with the delicate scent of honey produced from Provençal flowers.
Olives are a key component of the Provençal culture and with Péchés de Provence, they become delicious chocolates prepared with local almonds grilled to the core and grapes soaked in cognac. The different colours and sizes embody the various stages of an olive as it ripens.
